Timmis Motor Company Ltd. has always built its own bodies. They are a work of art and the quality of fit and finish is of the highest level. Every part, even down to the delicate hinge on the glove box door, the bevelled glass of the rear view mirror, the steering column mounted ignition switch, and the beautifully hand formed solid brass windshield frame is a work of art in itself. Door hinges are cast and machined, bumpers formed, top bows varnished, seats fitted, doors aligned and body panels blocksanded to perfection, each part an exact recreation of the original.

The Timmis-Ford V-8 Roadster is truly a connoisseur's treasure. It is a carefully built, powerful and sporting open roadster, capable of effortless cruising at slightly more than fifty miles per hour. Seating for a total of four is made possible by use of the rumble seat, a feature that also doubles as an exceptionally large luggage compartment, and the canvas top can be easily raised or lowered by one person. The canvas tops are handmade by Timmis Motor Company craftsmen. They are triple layer with waterproof rubber interlining between the canvas.
